Retail Rush
Second Year Group Project
Developed using Unity.
Programmed in C#.
Source controlled using GitHub.
Retail Rush was developed as a second year university coursework.
My responsibility in the project as an engineer:
Create a dynamic NPC to player dialogue system that changes based on who the player is interacting with.
Develop a scoring system that can work in tandem with the dialogue system when the player either scores a correct score or incorrect one.
Allow the player to play how they want. By allowing them to modify the games core mechanics through accessibility features.
What was developed:
A customizable linear dialogue system that allowed each NPC to have unique dialogue patterns.
A dynamic scoring system that works in parallel with the dialogue system.
An accessibility tab to allow players to modify game mechanics based on player's needs.
Customisable Linear Dialogue System
Before this project was in development, I was working on a standalone dialogue system. A link to its GitHub page can be found here.
