Sunseekers was developed as final year university coursework.
My responsibility in the project as an engineer:
Create meaningful gameplay loops that keep the player engaged and on their toes.
Maintain the social aspects of the game such as connectivity and a synced player-space.
Create unique experiences that vary gameplay for each player.
Some of the developed featrues:
Unique player-driven mini-games that challenge their ability to complete objectives in a short space of time.
Dynamic weather conditions that can impact player activities.
Local and networked multiplayer developed using Unity's in-engine Netcode Packages.
